Auckland will move to alert level 3 at 11.59pm on September 21st. A review of Alert Levels will happen on Monday 4 October.
A section 70 has been put around Mangatangi effectively increasing the Auckland boarder around Auckland. Please check for updated border instructions.
Level 2 gatherings and hospitality venues have increased from 50 – 100 people.
Review of ScreenSafe COVID-19 Health & Safety Protocols
Please note the ScreenSafe COVID-19 Health and Safety team is currently looking at what Protocols need to be reviewed, particularly in light of the new Delta variant.
For now, please refer to the ScreenSafe website –https://screensafe.co.nz/covid-19-coronavirus/– particularly the Protocols and Summary Guidelines around L4, L3, and Level 2.

18th August 2021 – Masks Mandatory from tonight
From 11:50pm tonight, it will be mandatory for anyone aged over 12 to wear a mask when visiting essential services that remain open.
It will also be mandatory for staff working at those essential services to wear a mask.
Mask wearing is mandatory for bus terminals and in taxis as well.
It is now mandatory for any business or service to display the QR code for the tracing app at all entry points. Download your posters here.
